It is often perceived that the actual wedding day should begin in chaos with a frantic bridal party, curling irons and mascara flying through the room. That was so not the case with the start of Sarah & Alan’s day. There was a naturally calm destined ease in the air.
Let’s learn a little about our bride & groom…
Sarah & Alan met their first year in law school. They were both a part of the same study group for their Federal Income Tax class. Sarah laughs, “Isn’t that romantic!!” The couple spent the next year developing a friendship before coming to terms with the fact that they were in love! A hilarious gift of bacon flavored/scented chapstick to console her horrible day sealed the deal and broke the ice from friendship to something more. A few dates later, while both belting out country music in a bar, they realized they not only found a best friend, but a soul mate.
Sarah knew Alan was up to something as he escorted her to a romantic dinner followed by a romantic weekend getaway! Alan, down on one knee, reached in his pocket and out came the gorgeous ring! Sarah immediately said, “Yes!”
The couple was married on September 3, 2011 at the outstanding Capitale. The couple ripped up the dance floor to Hank Lane’s Soho Rhythm. Sarah was striking in a La Sposa gown and hot Kate Spade shoes! Sarah exclaims, “We LOVED all of our vendors. Everyone was outstanding!!”
To our amazing bride & groom… we thank you.. YOU ROCK!!
