While on our honeymoon in South Africa, Ron and I kept talking about how excited we were to re-live our wedding day through the art of Barbara’s photographs. Luckily, when we returned, we were greeted by a huge package filled with over 1,500 proofs from our wedding! Instead of unpacking, doing laundry and getting back to “normal life,” we ripped open each and every box and dove right in.
After slowly looking through all of the photos, we quickly realized how hard it was going to be to narrow down the choices because we loved so many of them. Between the photos from our first look, our shots in Grand Central Station and pictures of our bridal party on the streets of NYC, not to mention our beautiful family portraits in front of our Chuppah and our actual ceremony, there were simply too many amazing photos in our “must have” pile!
Anthony’s office suggested that I bring the batch of photos to our album meeting and that they would help me condense the options. With approximately 150 photos in tow, my mother and I arrived to Anthony’s office. Kelley’s jaw dropped – we had chosen more than double the average amount of photos in an album! She assured me that this kind of thing happens often and that she would help us decide which photos were most significant to us.
It took us about four hours to remove 25 photos from our original 150. We came to the realization that we would prefer a larger album to discarding so many of our favorite shots. They were just too accurate in capturing the love we have for each other and the fun we had that day!
Ron and I have been on the edge waiting to receive our album. In the meantime, however, we have been fortunate enough to share some of our favorite shots!
