Ashley Jones began her fine art career as a child, always creating and documenting the world around her – a love of photography that began while stumbling across her father’s old cameras and photographs. It was then she realized just how much beauty you could capture with one click.
She went on to study photography in upstate New York and New Zealand where she received a bachelor in Fine Arts and concentration in Photography. Since the completion of her studies she has traveled the world, photographing people and documenting life – with pivotal projects such as America in its Modern Recession.
Wedding photography was the lucky evolution, presenting a dynamic blend of fine art and journalistic approaches – and a singular expression of people at a uniquely resonant moment. For Ashley Jones, wedding photography is organic, beautiful and always breathing – and her passion for it is evident throughout her work.
