A native of Colombia, Juan moved to Florida after completing his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration to pursue his passion for photojournalism. Fate soon redirected his path: after studying commercial photography, he was invited to assist at a wedding—and has been hooked ever since. Weddings, for Juan, are the perfect blend of candid storytelling and fine art, offering endless opportunities to create images that are both authentic and timeless.
Juan has been a vital part of Anthony Vazquez Photography for nearly 20 years, bringing his artistry, warmth, and dedication to every celebration he captures.
“I love weddings,” Juan shares. “I love being the pair of eyes that notices the little things others might miss—the bride’s anticipation while getting ready, a mother’s proud gaze, a father’s blessing, a groom’s nervous smile, and the calm joy that radiates when a couple finally meets at the altar. Every moment is spectacular, and I make sure none are missed.”
Beyond photography, Juan is an avid traveler, scuba diver, and soccer player. He also volunteers at local dog shelters, combining his compassion for animals with his commitment to giving back. For Juan, photography isn’t just a career—it’s a calling, and he lives by the belief that if you choose a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.
