It’s a small world after all! Bryn and Josh met the first week of their freshman year at the University of Michigan. She was randomly placed to live in a dorm room with a friend of Josh’s from high school. Bryn and her roommate were at a deli having lunch and Josh walked by, she said, “ he came in to say hi to his high school friend (my roommate), and the rest is history!” Ironically, Josh had already seen her picture before arriving to Michigan because another one of his high school friends went to sleep away camp with her. Their worlds collided in many ways.
How he proposed:
10 years later and then 4 months after having the ring, Josh finally had a full weekend free from work and proposed first thing on a Saturday morning so they had the whole weekend to celebrate. He hid the ring under his pillow, woke her up, and popped the question. Bryn said, “It was perfectly low key and intimate. We celebrated with our families that evening and the next week celebrated some more in Aruba!”
The Wedding took place on November 1, 2014 at Engineers Country Club in Roslyn, NY.
Band: Ernest Mills Band by Hank Lane
Flowers: Stefans Florist
Honeymoon: South Africa
Bryn said, “despite the gray skies and rainy day (it’s good luck, right?!) our wedding day was more amazing than we ever could have imagined. We could feel so much love and happiness surrounding us. Everyone was so excited that after 10 years we were finally married!!”
Thank you Bryn and Josh for sharing your wonderful day and story with us!
