Christopher Helmut Grosser
Christopher Helmut Grosser proclaims, "I love photography because it gives me the ability to capture life in the height of the moment. I like waiting until all the elements come together to make the perfect shot!"
Christopher, a Northern California native, lived in a small rural town in Nebraska as a small child but returned back to California by the time he was ready for grade school.
Grosser is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara with a BA in commercial advertising. While attending Christopher worked at Playboy. In the next few years he worked alongside as many photographers as possible such as Matthias Vriens and Mario Testino to name a few. Since then Grosser moved to New York in following his pursuit of creating alluring images in the worlds most fashionable city, New York. His published work includes some of the most prominent fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Barney’s and People Magazine.
Christopher has been a prominent part of the Team at Anthony Vazquez Photography for 5 years. Grosser explains, "Shooting weddings is great because you get to be a fly on the wall on such a huge day for the couple and family but, unlike most flies, you get welcomed with open arms!"
Some of Christopher’s inspiration comes from the greats such as Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin.
Aside from photography Christopher loves soccer and any and all board sports. More importantly his latest passion is his beautiful daughter, Sophia.
