Barbara Torres
Barbara Torres is a trueborn and bred New Yorker! She grew up an aspiring artist in Manhattan first picking up a camera while in High School simply because "I couldn’t get the drawings and paintings to look like what I saw in my head!" she admits! Even though NYC probably has the most photographed scenery Barbara’s true passion was and still is photographing people!
Torres decided to change it up and study in Arizona majoring in Studio Art specializing in photography. Upon completing her studies she moved back to NYC and began her career in photography in Commercial Production working with such clients as Victoria’s Secret.
Having 2 small children at home Barbara didn’t want to compromise motherhood with her passion of Photography. Wedding Photography had taken on an artistic, creative movement and she thought what could be better!
12 years ago she received a call to assist on a wedding and was in love ever since! The joy she receives from watching others bond their love was priceless and she instantly fell in love! She has been a part of Anthony Vazquez Photography for six years and feels truly blessed.
Barbara enjoys being able to push herself every weekend to create beautiful images, which will remain part of a bride & grooms life forever. She states, "I am happy to say I have my dream job!"
